About Oakvale Wildlife Park
Set on 25 acres of scenic bushland in Port Stephens, Oakvale Wildlife Park is 100% Australian-owned and operated. Our park is home to a wide array of Australian native wildlife, domestic farm animals, and a selection of exotic species, including koalas, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, goats, alligators, and ostriches—plus many more.
At Oakvale, we pride ourselves on offering a value-for-money experience, making it a perfect family day out. Guests of all ages can get up close to our friendly, free-roaming animals, hand-feed kangaroos, interact with adorable joeys, or take part in our engaging Keeper Talks and Feeding Shows. For a fun way to explore the park, hop on a Tractor Trailer Ride that takes you across our well-maintained, accessible pathways. We cater to all needs, with pram, wheelchair, and mobility scooter-friendly routes, as well as accessible toilets, showers, and a fully supported JennSwing in our playground.
Speaking of play, we have two large, shaded, and securely fenced playgrounds, perfect for children to enjoy safely. Looking to cool off? Head to our Splash Bay Water Park, open year-round—don’t forget to pack your swimmers! For lunch, you can enjoy our on-site café, dine at our Tea Room, use our picnic areas, or fire up a complimentary BBQ for an outdoor meal.
Our park is more than just fun—it’s about conservation and education, too. As an Ecotourism-certified facility and a member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association, we are dedicated to sustainability and inspiring visitors to connect with nature. For those looking for a unique memory, capture moments at our Photo Booth, or book one of our private Wildlife Encounters.
Oakvale Wildlife Park is a place where adventure, discovery, and cherished family moments await at every corner. Whether you’re feeding friendly kangaroos, meeting exotic reptiles, or relaxing at a picnic, every visit is a journey into the heart of nature.
