Established on 1st November 1979, Oakvale Wildlife Park has remained a Australian family owned and operated business for more than 40 years.

On November 1, 1979, Oakvale Farm & Fauna World was inaugurated by Jeff and Elaine Sansom, and in 1995, it was handed down to their son, Kent Sansom.

Over the years, since its inception in 1979, Oakvale has undergone numerous transformations. In 2018, a significant change occurred with the renaming of the park from Oakvale Farm & Fauna World to Oakvale Wildlife Park. Among the recent additions is our Koala breeding and education centre, aptly named 'Koala Country.' This latest development showcases our ongoing commitment to the welfare and conservation of native wildlife.

While the park has evolved, one constant has been our dedication to providing an enriching experience for our visitors, offering them the opportunity to learn about our native wildlife and how we can collectively contribute to its protection. Our journey continues, grounded in a deep-rooted commitment to wildlife education and conservation.
