Monday 25th May 2020

Oakvale Wildlife Park reopened to the public on Monday 1st June 2020.

We have implemented our COVID 19 Safety Plan in line with the government guidelines, so you will see a few changes when you arrive to ensure the safety of our visitors, staff, and animals.

Located on 25 acres there is ample space for all our guests to enjoy what we have on offer while still practising physical distancing measures.

We recommend purchasing tickets online to ensure a quick and easy check-in once you arrive, however, tickets are still available for purchase upon arrival at the kiosk. Due to the rules and regulations, we do require guests to provide their name and contact phone number upon entering but there will be no restrictions to the number of patrons on the park given our expansive grounds.

A variety of sanitising stations have been set up throughout the park along with additional handwashing facilities.

Upon arrival to Oakvale please follow relevant signage and instructions to ensure physical distancing measures are enacted. Wayfinding signs have been set up to ensure easy-flow access around the park with some exhibits having a dedicated point of entry and exit.

The following encounters are still available for purchase: Koala, Reptile & Meerkat Encounters, it is highly recommended that these encounters be booked prior to your arrival as spaces have been limited to enable physical distancing measures.

Oakvale’s café will be operating as normal with lots of wonderful options available for purchase.

Our Reptile Ravine & Walk-through bird aviary will have capacity limitations during peak times and Splash Bay Water Park will be fully operational.

At the commencement of opening rather than encouraging large gatherings of people by having Animal Keeper Talks we will instead be having keepers at various times throughout the day roaming with animals to keep everyone entertained, informed and educated.

We are still offering Birthday Party packages and these can be booked online, via phone or on park.

To all our annual membership holders your membership has been extended by 2 months (the duration we have been closed)

It is important to remember however should you have any cold or flu symptoms or you have been asked to self-isolate; please do not visit the park until you have been cleared by a medical professional.

All our staff and animals can't wait to welcome everyone back to the Oakvale from June 1st 😊
