Celebrations all round tonight as Oakvale Wildlife Park was awarded BRONZE and SILVER at the NSW Tourism Awards.

Oakvale Wildlife Park proudly accepted the Bronze Award for Tourist Attractions and Silver for Excellence in Accessible Tourism tonight at the NSW Tourism Awards held at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney.

Celebrating its 30th year in 2019, the NSW Tourism Awards attracted 146 entrants representing a diverse range of businesses from across New South Wales. Finalists across 26 categories are recognised for excellence in a range of tourism areas such as Tourist Attractions, Festivals and Events, Ecotourism, New Tourism Business, Destination Marketing, Accommodation and Excellence in Accessible Tourism.

The Tourism Awards provide tourism organisations and individuals the opportunity to gain an insight into their industry, their business, achieve recognition for their success and promote tourism within their region. One of the focus points of the awards is to develop quality tourism products and provide businesses the opportunity to benchmark their business with similar businesses in activity and size and can identify their own personal and professional development within the tourism industry.
